News from the food!

Hei!

Can't wait to give you news from Tlaxcala. Indeed, in 3 days, I met a few part of the Mexican Cuisine.

First, I tell you right now I've been taken by surprise and I didn't have my camera with me, so you'll have to trust me. Right now, I'm going to take it with me everywhere!
So, I don't really know how they do here, but they are able to eat great loads of food. Without sport, obviously I can't.

Let's begin by Sunday. Once back from La Malinche, we were invited with my roomates to a kind of town party. The town is named Belén Atzitzimititlán and its Saint was celebrated. Jorge and Luisa told us to come.
The food was typical, a mole (salsa with meat) from Tlaxcala. I won't lie, there are so many things in this dish that in didn't note all. However, I can say this was served with chicken and I can find in the sauce some hot pepper, chocolate and many other things. By the way, it's very good!

Well, a nice family party like in France, with the whole family from great great father to the last little boy, the little difference is that in my country, we don't really invite foreigners... One word, great.

Then, Tuesday was quite big according to the food. After a nice apple à 9.15, my roomates told me to take the breakfast with them at... 10.00. Obviously, I said yes.
So, menu: dish with eggs, machaca, hot pepper and tomatoe, served with enchiladas and some other things.
At 3.00 pm,  back to home for lunch. Was prepared a tostada from Sinaloa. Easy to prepare, you just have to pile the ingredients the one up the others: corn tortilla, red bean purée, meat, salad, red onions, grated carrot, cream, vegetables hot pepper purée, then you put cheese above and you baste with hot pepper sauce.

Last but not least, this Wednesday, Jorge invited us to celebrate the 2nd of February with his family. Menu: a carne asada, that is to say, a big barbecue and we ate a large amount of food: meat, hot pepper, white onions, nopales...

Well,  Thursady, I woke up with belly pains. At 3 pm, I went back home, I didn't eat and I went to bed. Waken up at 5 pm, I wanted to go to the University to see Margarita, but I was taken while I was walking by my roomate Fernando and a colleague Cecilia to be sent to bed.
At 7 pm I went back to bed, at 10 am the Friday I woke up. Bad day!
Here, they call this "La venganza de Moctezuma" (The Moctezuma Vengeance) former Aztec Emperor.

See you soon.
